
Mark Thomson
Senior Environmental Scientist
Mark has over 13 years of experience in providing geo-environmental services for a diverse array of civil and environmental development projects. Starting his career with Tectonic in 2017, Mark’s fields of expertise include management, monitoring and reporting on water quality issues, identification and management of Acid Sulfate Soils, development of erosion and sediment control strategies, and the creation of environmental management plans and strategies for construction and development activities. He has helped manage the environmental impact of major commercial development projects for clients such as Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Brisbane Regional Councils, and has undertaken large-scale site investigations and interpretive reporting for residential and commercial development throughout the South-east Queensland region.
