About Us

Based centrally on the Sunshine Coast, Tectonic is a specialist group of geotechnical professionals.

We service southern and central Queensland including the Brisbane, Scenic Rim, Ipswich, Toowoomba, Moreton Bay, Gympie, Fraser Coast and Bundaberg regions. Established in 2013, Tectonic have grown into a close-knit team of professional staff, with an in-house driller and administration support personnel.

We provide cost-effective and timely solutions designed to meet your specific needs. All of our projects are undertaken by qualified geotechnical and environmental consultants under the direction of a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Our services are supported by public liability and professional indemnity insurances, and our management systems are certified against Australian and International Standards for Quality, Safety and Environment.

Tectonic has four RPEQ geotechnical engineers supported by an experienced team. Our Managing Director, Ashley Davey, has been a leading geotechnical engineer on the Sunshine Coast for nearly 30 years.
